Before: A Bathroom with No Breathing Room
The original bathroom was barely functional — small, dark, and closed-in. It lacked storage, comfort, and any semblance of modern style. Worse, it didn’t reflect the homeowners’ personality or meet their daily needs.
The goal was clear: create a serene, open, spa-inspired bathroom with premium finishes and thoughtful, custom details — even if it meant reworking the floor plan entirely.
The Transformation: Strategic Expansion + Total Rebuild
Reclaiming Space
Wasted square footage from the master bedroom and closet was cleverly reallocated to accommodate the new bathroom layout. This decision allowed for a full reimagining of the space, enabling all key features — including a freestanding tub, double vanities, and a generously sized shower — to fit comfortably.
All New Plumbing
All plumbing was relocated to support the new layout. The toilet and shower were moved to opposite walls, allowing for better spatial balance and flow. This also enabled the freestanding tub to become a central feature without compromising function.
Freestanding Tub & Marble Niches
A sculptural freestanding tub was added as a focal point, accompanied by a large marble niche for bath essentials and visual texture. A second, matching niche was built into the shower wall for symmetry and storage.
